Free Hardware Setup Instructions for Dlink Router Local California

1. Connect the power adapter to the electrical outlet and the Dlink router local.
2. Connect the Ethernet cable to the WAN ports on the modem and router, and connect the two. (WAN port is usually yellow)
3. Check that the power indicator gets ON or not. If ON then go to next step else check your power supply.
4. Turn on the computer or mobile device.
5. Connect with your dlink router using default web address dlinkrouter.local or default IP address. You can find the network name (SSID) and password on the back label of the dlink router.
After that you are required to login your Dlink router for which you can follow below steps:
1. Open a web browser on a computer connected to the D-Link router's Wi-Fi network.
2. Enter the URL of the d-link router: dlinkrouter.local or 192.168.0.1 in the URL bar.
3. Press Enter to access the D-Link router login page.
4. If the dlink login page cannot be loaded, dlinkrouter.local will not work.
5. A window will appear on the login page asking you to enter your D-Link administrator username and password. Here you need to enter the D-Link administrator username and password and then press the login button.
6. Opening the D-Link router website means that you are connected to the D-Link router. You can now configure the Dlink router to configure its settings.
7. If you have problems with Dlink Local not working, please contact 877-323-1333 to resolve the issue.
