When I started this preparation two years ago, I also considered pursuing a master's degree at the same time, but I was afraid that doing so would negatively impact my preparedness. Then, a few of my friends advised me to attend a mentorship session run by professionals from EDEN IAS, one of the most reputable and best coaching institute for IAS in Delhi.
There, I had the chance to speak with mentors who helped me with my UPSC exam-related questions and who helped me decide to pursue master’s preparation as well. Only then did they advise me to enroll in the 2-year UPSC preparation program, telling me that I would receive master's-level preparation training in addition to the 2-year UPSC preparation training.
I am currently in my second year of preparation with them, and in addition to preparing for the UPSC, I am also preparing for my masters. I find it impressive and outstanding how they have handled this dual responsibility because the following year, I will attempt the UPSC CSE prelims and complete my master’s program as well.
